Jsme předním dodavatelem pro automobilový průmysl. Navrhujeme inovativní produkty a systémy, které přispívají ke snižování emisí CO2, ke zlepšení výkonu vozidel a k vývoji intuitivního řízení. V České republice máme přes 4000 zaměstnanců a čtyři výrobní závody, v Humpolci, Rakovníku, Žebráku a Podbořanech, kde vyrábíme senzory do chytrých aut, klimatizační jednotky, kompresory, výměníky tepla, kontrolní panely a komponenty pro spojkovou hydrauliku. V R&D centru v Praze a na testovacím polygonu vyvíjíme systémy do autonomních aut od softwaru přes mechaniku až po výsledné testování.

Popis pozice

We are looking for a motivated student for a training period in Optical Engineering to support the deployment of a new optical laboratory. The position is half-time and will long from May 1st to September 30th, 2021.

We are an automotive supplier, a partner to all automakers worldwide. As a technological company, we design innovative products and systems that contribute to reduction of CO2 emissions and to development of automated driving. In our Research and Development center in Prague we employ seven hundred engineers. They are those who stand behind the latest systems of active safety (ADAS) and autonomous driving. What does it mean? Software, hardware engineers, together with mechanical designers, test and system engineers develop sensors and systems for safe and comfortable driving. Automated parking systems, automated emergency braking, blind spot detection and road sign recognition are just a few examples.

You will join the Front Camera Product Line in order:

  • to support the deployment of the new optical laboratory (installation / test / validation),

to prepare optical test benches for:

  • spectral analysis
  • volumetric non-invasive analysis of optical elements (optical coherence tomography)
  • you will be supported by the Valeo Prague optical expert, and you will have to communicate with colleagues located in France, Germany and Ireland.


Co hledáme

  • high interest for innovation,
  • student in Engineering/Mathematics/Physics (4+ semester)
  • knowledge in some computing (Matlab, Labview, Python…) is an advantage and in interfacing
  • Fluent in English
  • knowledge in French or German languages is a plus (but not mandatory)
  • EU citizenship
