Popis pozice

Our company manages payments and compliance systems used by the KBC Group in many countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Ireland and corporate branches across the whole world. International cooperation is our daily business as well because our ICT partners are located in Belgium and India. We drive the innovation in the payments and compliance areas for the KBC Group and follow the market trends and new regulations to ensure compliance. All this with high focus on maximum possible quality as payments are core activity of the bank. Our Design team aims for further growth and we are looking for candidates who can help us in our journey. Are you the person interested in technology and eager to learn new things? You will start with general training on Payments world, practically use the banking systems to understand them and then start learning the technical background to build your expertise.


Your responsibilities:

  • maintaining various banking systems
  • analysing and writing requirements for changes which have to happen in the banking systems
  • creating test plans and software testing
  • providing support, handling system incidents
  • creating new reports based on current needs, using SQL
  • participating on projects involving more banks (PSD2, GDPR, GPI, etc.) and eventually travel to Belgium or other KBC Group countries

We expect:

  • analytical mindset (ability to see connections, find new solutions, thinking out of box)
  • interest in technology and IT (eg. creation of websites, databases, information systems)
  • good English language skills, both written and spoken (at least B2)
  • ability to work independently on long term goals (project work)
  • adequate work experience – advantage
  • Management or Technology College degree – advantage
