Absa Technology Prague is a specialist SW development hub of Absa Bank, a South African-based financial services group, offering personal and business banking, credit cards, corporate and investment banking, wealth and investment management, as well as bancassurance. Team
We are small team building integration platform for Forex/Equities/Fixed income trades post their execution on exchange or other trading venue. We provide unified distributed integration pipeline that scales and is extensible. We use predominantly .NET and Python with Javascript sprinkles. Right now we are busy with re-architecting our services to run containerized in the cloud. Also, in the coming months we want to improve on application telemetry and we search for someone that will be passionate about these new Devops tools and practices.

What you’ll bring to us
C# and .NET practical experience
Object oriented programming and functional programming concepts
Knowledge of relational database concepts and experience with at least one RDBMS system
Familiarity with distributed service architectures / concepts
Experience with Python, Docker, Terraform is welcome but not necessary
Strong written and oral communication skills (English)
Independent problem solving
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build partnerships with all colleagues
